Rapid Health Smart Triage

Available 1st June 2026

Book you appointment online

You can use Smart Triage between 8am and 6:30pm Monday to Friday (excluding bank holidays) to:

  • Tell us about your symptoms or problem safely and securely
  • Get health care advice
  • Book an appointment with the most appropriate clinician
  • Book an MSK physio appointment
  • Request a fit/sick note
  • Ask an admin question

If you send us an online request, we will review it and let you know the next steps by the end of the next working day.

You still need to contact your practice for the following:

  • Prescription requests
  • To view your health record
  • Home visit requests
  • Booking routine appointments for long term health conditions (ie: asthma)
  • Test results
  • Nursing Appointments
  • Contraception requests
  • Post-natal appointments and baby checks
  • Medication Reviews

NHS 111 online

If you need medical help right now, please call 111 or go to NHS 111 online . In an emergency call 999.

111 online can tell you:

  • where to get help for your symptoms, if you're not sure what to do
  • how to find general health information and advice
  • where to get an emergency supply of your prescribed medicine
  • how to get a repeat prescription

NHS App

You can use the app to:

  • Request prescriptions
  • Check requested prescriptions
  • Check your booked appointments
  • Check your GP health record
  • Receive messages from your surgery.
  • View your NHS number
  • Check blood test results
  • Register your organ donation decision

SystmOnline

If you already have an account you can check appointments, test results order prescriptions.

If you are not set-up and would like to have access, you will need to come into the GP surgery with some photographic ID (ie:passport, driving licence or bus pass) You will be given access codes to set up your account. Once registered you can:

  • View your GP health record
  • See booked appointments
  • Request prescriptions
  • Change your nominated pharmacy.
  • Check blood test results
  • Check correspondence such as hospital letters
